Product Description

This is our best selling product. More advanced than the SB1. It offers more options in terms of hardware and software. Example you can select from 10 different profiles. The SB1 has only one fixed profile.

It's a proven fact that motorcycles can decelerate more rapidly than most cars and trucks. The combination of a motorcycle's narrow profile and the brisk change in velocity during braking is the most common cause of rear end accidents involving motorcycles, and often the results are fatal to the rider. Vizible Technologies' SupaBrake modulators are designed to enhance the reaction time of the vehicle behind you. It is designed to pulsate your vehicle's brake light(s) with a variable number of flashes calculated by its embedded algorithm. The algorithm is based on the rate at which you apply your brakes. As a result, the brake light(s) are flashed in a more subtle manner at lower speeds(when brakes are frequently used), and more aggressively at higher speeds(when brakes are not used for longer time intervals). Whereas other simpler products on the market that continuously "blink" their brake light(s) with an annoying repeating sequence - each and every time their brakes are applied! Our Supabrake product pulses in driving conditions when you need to get the immediate attention of drivers without annoying them.

Upon applying the brakes, the SupaBrake sends a burst of pulses to your motorcycle's brake light(s). The duration of the burst is a function of the time elapsed between the current brake cycle and the previous. After the burst, the unit allows the rear brake light to function normally(solid brake light). This algorithm is designed to eliminate target fixation as found in cheaper, passive versions that continuously "blink" the brake light(s) even though the vehicle is at a complete stop.

Example at low speed
When the frequency at which the driver/rider applies the brakes increases, (i.e. during low speeds such as city driving), the shorter the burst of flashes to the rear brake(s) light will be. If the brakes are applied within 0 - 12 seconds, the brake light will NOT flash - thus allowing it to function normally (solid brake light). This condition is most valuable during heavy stop-and-go traffic so as not to annoy the person or police in the vehicle behind you.

Example at cruising speed
When the frequency at which the driver/rider applies the brakes decreases, (i.e. at cruising speed), the longer the burst to the rear brake light will be. This condition is most valuable during quick sudden decelerations at speeds which require quick reaction to changes in traffic conditions or other driver's intentions. It has been scientifically proven that a quick flashing of a vehicle's brakes will alert the driver behind much sooner ... and the SupaBrake Flasher does this for you.

  • User profile select
Preloaded with 10 field selectable/programmable profiles*. Option to upload a fully customizable "11th profile" available.
  • Input de-bounce
This feature allows the user to quickly “tap” the brake lever or pedal without the algorithm inducing its flash routine or resetting. In an event of a "tap", the brake light will function normally and will appear as an ordinary tap of the brakes. Another aspect to this feature is that it allows the user to initiate a quick speed check on the rear brakes before a full application of the front brakes. In this case the algorithm will trigger a burst after full brake application.
  • Force-Flash retriggering
This technology, unique to Vizible Technologies, allows the rider to manually induce a flash routine after the initial application of the brakes. This is useful when stopped alone at a red light or in traffic to alert vehicles approaching from behind. Example: Press and hold the brakes for >3seconds. Quickly release and reapply the brakes within half second. The unit will output a burst of flashes.
  • Decaying flash routine
Each pulse period is gradually increased from the previous pulse. This gives the given burst cycle a "de-acceleration" illusion when viewed from behind at speed. In other words, the routine will start with a faster frequency and end with a slower frequency.
  • Defeat Mode
This feature allows the rider to quickly bypass all the functions of the SupaBrake without having to physically remove the unit from the motorcycle. If need be, the functionality of your brake light can easily revert to stock condition.
  • Simple Plug & Ride Installation
  • Bypass Mode
Allows the user to bypass all the features of the SupaBrake without having to phyically remove the unit from the motorcycle..

Don't put other outdated bulkier modules on your motorcycle that pulsate your brake light each and every time you apply your brakes. Most of these cheaper annoying modules will continue to flash your brake light(s) with the same irritating routine even when you are completely stopped in traffic. This is not only illegal and annoying it detracts from the visual appearance of your vehicle and other drivers/riders attention to the road. Some of these "zombie-like" flashers claim to have an accelerometer module that will supposedly give you a couple of hundreds milliseconds reaction time. We have experimented with these in our lab and road tests, they don’t work due to the nature of engine vibration, road vibration and mounting angle. Simply too many noise vectored components giving them very poor sensitivity. That is not the best way to implement this sort of technology. At best they are just for marketing. Be careful you always get what you pay for.

  1. Supabrake ll 3 Star Review

Posted by on 20th May 2016

Purchased SupaBrake ll, Had to install plugs because it was the Universal model. After installation was complete, I tested the brake light and was disappointed that when brake was applied, the 4 pulses of light were so fast it seemed to not give the light bulb a chance to reach full brightness before going to next pulse, which almost looks as if the brake light is solid with a slight short in it as if a bulb was loose etc. Because of the extreme quick pulse time, I can't see this product drawing much attention at all. I do not recommend this product.

    Vizi-Tec: <<< READ THE MANUAL >>>>
Classic case of someone ordering a product without reading the manual! The SB2 is not you average passive blinkers. In the manual it clearly states that the higher HZ is not recommended for old school bulbs. Try reading the manual and selecting a different profile with a lower HZ. Or upgrade to some LEDs and welcome to 2017 :p

Also the kit came with 6x posi-loc. You didn't need to go and get plugs.
Also a reason why we don't offer kits for older 1990's bikes.

  2. Simplest installation possible 5 Star Review

This is the simplest accessory I have ever installed. Love the plug and play feature and the increased visibility to drivers behind is priceless.
The brake modulator on my last bike involved cutting and splicing wires so this one was much appreciated.
    Great product and design!

  3. Plug and Play 5 Star Review

Bought one last year for my Raider S and bought one this year and installed it on my sons Tenere. Works like a charm and makes the bikes stand out when you tap the brakes.
Tested the difference with and without the Supabrake II.

    I won't ride without it.
Look in the mirror and see the vehicles notice you is a good feeling.

Very easy installation just plug and go. Lights work great and feel that cars from behind will see blinking lights and get there attention but still have to always be aware of your surroundings. Drive safe! Great product Vizi-tec highly recommend to have on motorcycle.

  6. Totally worth it! 5 Star Review

I’ve had brake light modulators before and even ones with different flash modes but the Supabrake-II has stepped it up a notch. With the OEM connectors and the compact size it is one of the easiest installations you can do. The programming is super easy and I just keep the flash list on my phone for reference. Yes the price is high but for the features you get and not needing access to the unit to switch modes it’s worth every penny. These guys were even nice enough to send me a saying “Merry Christmas John and enjoy the Ducati!” You can’t beat that type of service with quick shipping.

  7. My excuse was safety, but truth be told, it makes my bike look cool! 5 Star Review

I am on my fourth Vizi tech unit and they worked flawlessly on every bike I have put them on. For me now, it's just a standard option whenever I buy a new bike, I buy a Vizi tech shortly thereafter. You should buy one to you won't be disappointed their products are excellent and they even passed my crazy and I mean crazy level of scrutiny.

  8. I'm totally pleased! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 25th Dec 2015

It's all good! My experience has been like I've joined a family. My questions and problems were personally handled (you're awesome Bernard!!). The only problem I had through this process was that one connector wasn't right and that was corrected pronto and another unit was shipped out the same day. And the only reason that was a problem because Bernard had to make one from scratch for my '07 Kawasaki Zzr 600. Bernard went through the whole process with me ( buying, installing, reshipping, reinstalling, programming to my specs) and I felt comfortable and welcomed with each email I sent and reply I got. (I was hoping I wasn't getting on his nerves..Lol) He even offered a suggestion about some LEDs towers for my brake lights. All I can say is that more companies could take a page out of his book and Vi-Zi tech. They have treated me like family with this process, not like just another statistic for the production board. (I love plug n play instead of cutting up wires, this is my first bike and trying to keep my mods stress free...meaning simple!)

  9. Superior quality in Supabrake-II 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Nov 2015

Product arrived promptly and well-packaged. Installation instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The selection of the preferred function map was quite easy to follow and dial in. The function of the product, once fully installed and preset, has proven to be a very good addition to the safety equipment on this motorcycle. This purchase has exceeded my expectations! Thanks very much!

  10. The smart brake light modulator 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Nov 2015

If you're gonna bother putting in a brake light modulator do it right. This unit is plug and play. No cutting of factory wiring. No worries about corrosion even after using electrical tape. Well sealed, this unit will outlast your bike.

And unlike simple ones that only have one pattern of flashing, this intelligent system recognizes the difference between stop and go traffic, and high speed riding and adjusts itself accordingly.

One nice feature I like is the ability to flash it when I'm already at a stop and I see a car coming up from behind me.
